NYCN MANAGEMENT MEETING; YOUTH COUNCIL WARN IMPOSTORS , EULOGISED GOV. ADELEKE INFRASTRUCTURAL STRIDES

The National Youth Council Of Nigeria ,Osun State chapter held her management meeting in accordance to the provision of the Constitution, and also as her usual practice in the begining of the year.

The management meeting was held at the state Secretariat of the National Youth Council of Nigeria ,Osun State yesterday , 12th January , 2025 at 3pm. The meeting was conveyed to deliberate on issues bordering on youth development in Osun State and to envisioned ways to maintain peace and harmony in the state .

The meeting had in attendance relevant stakeholders ,affiliated voluntary youth organizations, local government coordinators as well as member of the council in attendance .

The National Youth Council of Nigeria Osun State Chapter resolved on the following at the state management meeting ;

The Management Applauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for his giant strides in infrastructural development and appeal for urgent implementation of Imole Youth Corps for youth empowerment in the state.

The Management equally enjoined the State Commissioner of Youth Affairs, Hon Moshood Olagunju to do more towards uniting the youth of the state and more importantly stand by the dictate of the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to uphold peace among the youth constituency in the state.

The Management of NYCN Osun State warn some imposters parading themselves in and around the state to confuse the general public about the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria to stop such unpatriotic act or face the consequences of the law.

The Management established and affirmed that 40 duly affiliated organizations with certified competent local government coordinators across the 30 local government areas certified/validated before the Saturday April 6th, 2022 Congress remain the face and the structure of National Youth Council of Nigeria in the state.

The Management encouraged all the leaders of Voluntary youth organizations, the stakeholders, and the coordinators to remain peaceful, civil and Conduct themselves in Omoluabi manner.

The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter under the leadership of Com Adetunji Ajala were advised to report any impostors or shenanigans planning to disrupt the peace of the state to the security agencies.

The Management say NO to any Congress planning in the name National Youth Council of Nigeria and debunk any committee set up as mere child's play, the management established that he will properly inform members at due time when the tenure of the present executives elapse.
