Osimhen Confident Galatasaray Will Overturn Europa League Deficit Against AZ Alkmaar

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is confident that Galatasaray can still secure a spot in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16, despite their 4-1 first-leg defeat to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.

Osimhen, who missed the game due to suspension, believes that the Turkish giants will mount a comeback in Istanbul next week and prove their true strength.

“The return match in Istanbul will be very different. With the support of our fans, we will show them the true power of Galatasaray,” Osimhen told Fotomac.
“I will score my goals. Leave AZ Alkmaar to me. We will be the side that advances. I am sure of that. Everyone should keep their morale high.”
