Remo Stars’ Success in NPFL: Assistant Coach Folarin Credits Trust and Synergy

Remo Stars’ impressive run in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season has not gone unnoticed, and assistant coach Sulaiman Folarin has revealed the secret behind their dominance—trust, teamwork, and synergy.

Folarin emphasized the deep connection within the team’s coaching staff, especially in the absence of head coach Daniel Ogunmodede, who was away on national team duties. According to him, Ogunmodede’s belief in his assistants has fueled their success.

"We’ve played 10 matches without the head coach, and we won seven, drew three. This is a result of coach Ogunmodede’s trust in me, my immediate assistant Coach Shokabi, and the other coaches," Folarin told BSN Sports.

"Each time Coach Dan is away on national duty, the assistant coaches and players want to do more to show our love and respect for him and repay his trust in us."
