Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has drawn comparisons between himself and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, acknowledging that he won’t be afforded the same time to rebuild as his Spanish counterpart.
Amorim, who took over from Erik ten Hag last November, has faced a rough start at Old Trafford, with his side currently sitting 14th in the Premier League table.
Ahead of Sunday’s clash against Arsenal, the Portuguese coach expressed his concerns about the lack of patience at Manchester United.
“I will not have the time that Arteta had. I feel that. It’s a different club. So we just need to survive—the players on Sunday and me during these games. I think it’s a different club.”
