Tiktok Star Peller’s Friend Laments Over N2M Payment, Seeks More Support

A friend of Tiktok star Peller has taken to social media to express dissatisfaction over a N2 million payment he received from the content creator, claiming it was not enough for his needs. The young man, who had worked with Peller on video content, expressed frustration at being left behind as Peller’s career took off.

In a post on social media, the friend wrote, “Abeg make Una help me beg Peller, him don credit me N2M but it’s not enough. Please carry me along. Na me and you dey do videos you dey give me N2M wetin N2M wan do for me? You leave me for Ikorodu I still dey suffer for here…”

This outburst has sparked a range of reactions from social media users, many of whom have criticized the friend’s sense of entitlement and greed.

Public Backlash and Criticism

Many of the reactions to the post have pointed to the friend’s apparent ingratitude and unrealistic expectations. A user, @ballzy_physio, remarked, “I have always known that there are people who are ingrates and feel entitled to other people’s money and success, but each day, humans find a way to push the boundaries of how ungrateful they can be. If you have a friend like this around you, block them today.”

Another commenter, @thealexisjunior, simply called the friend “greedy,” while @chrisdaramola_1 offered a more sarcastic response, suggesting the friend should be able to afford a good phone and other tools needed for video production with the N2M payment. He said, “You should be able to get a good phone and other things you need to start your video production, but it seems like you are the person that finished the Apple Adam and Eve ate from…”

Additionally, @olatu125 humorously remarked, “Now I see why dem no carry u along! At this rate, u fit collect Jarvis,” referencing the potential for the friend to receive even more extravagant gifts, making light of the situation.

A Lesson in Gratitude and Entitlement

The incident has sparked a broader conversation about gratitude, entitlement, and the pressures of friendship in the world of social media influencers. It’s not uncommon for those who work behind the scenes to feel underappreciated or left behind when their peers succeed, but this situation highlights how entitlement can quickly overshadow appreciation.

While it's understandable that the friend may feel frustrated by his circumstances, his reaction raises questions about expectations of success and what it truly takes to build a career in the content creation industry. Most importantly, it serves as a reminder of the importance of gratitude, and how vital it is to support and uplift those around us without demanding or feeling entitled to more than what is rightfully earned.
