Zimbabwean Socialite Sentenced To Prison For Selling Sex Toys
Popular Zimbabwean socialite and Twitter user, Ayanda Muponda, was found guilty and sentenced to prison for selling sex toys.
Muponda was found guilty of breaking the Custom and Excise Act and exposing children to pornography after trading the goods on numerous social media platforms.
An Mbare magistrate sentenced Muponda to 24 months in prison and also gave her a 640-hour community service requirement.
If she does not repeat a similar offense within the following five years, the court will postpone the first six months of her sentence.
She is however required to complete community service in order for the remaining 16 months to be suspended.
