'I am Suffering,' says actor Ray Emodi, who has announced a temporary break from acting.

Ray Emodi, an actor, has disclosed that he suffers from anxiety and is suffering from severe symptoms.

The actor revealed this in an Instagram post, stating that he has been receiving treatment since 2015.

Ray Emodi alleges that his physicians gave him a medical order to avoid stress. As a result, he claims, he has ceased film production until further notice.

Emodi also made a sincere appeal to individuals he owes money to, begging for their patience and understanding while vowing to reimburse them as soon as possible.

Ray Emodi wrote;

“I am suffering from anxiety. I’ve been receiving treatment for this since 2015, and one of the requirements is not to overwork.

I have been having serious symptoms of late, and for this reason, I will not be able to continue with film work for the foreseeable future. Please allow me some time to refund your money. I apologize for any inconvenience. The medical establishment that has been handling my case is called Synapse, based in Abuja”

Ray Emodi responds when a filmmaker calls him out for declining to feature in her film after receiving N700,000

In other news, popular actor Ray Emodi has reacted after aspiring filmmaker Rosy Adigwe chastised him for not returning her N700,000 deposit.

Rosy said in a popular video that Ray refused to do her work four days after she paid him.

She stated that he informed her he had another producer working on his case and that whomever paid first would get the job, so she paid him before her screenplay was published.

After receiving the N700,000, the actor allegedly rejected to do the job due to the huge frequency of sequences, opting instead for a refund.

She begged him for a refund, but the filmmaker observed that he insisted and that she provided him with her account details.

However, she had not been paid two days after sending her information.

When Rosy contacted Ray Emodi, she claimed he informed her he would reimburse her money in three weeks, which she questioned because he was the one who insisted on a refund.

According to her, things deteriorated to the point when Ray Emodi blocked Rosy's phone number even after he got the money a month earlier.

As she begged the actor to refund her money, the young film producer began to cry even more.

According to her, the actor’s debt had affected her job and she had to suspend production.

In response to the allegations levelled against him, Ray Emodi in a video sighted on his Instagram page, said he has refunded the Filmmaker but not from his bank account.
