Nasarawa United qualify for NNL Super Eight playoff

Nasarawa United advanced to the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs after holding Zamfara United to a 1-1 draw.

The Solid Miners finished second in Northern Conference Group C, trailing only the Maiduguri-based El-Kanemi Warriors.

Namadi Ahmad scored the opening goal for Zamfara United in the 40th minute.
Terdoo Shimagande scored the visitors' equaliser two minutes later.

Sokoto United and Sporting Supreme FC have already advanced to the playoffs from Northern Conference Group D.

Madiba FC and Beyond Limits FA are in pole position to qualify from Southern Conference Group A.

The Southern Conference Group B seats are still available and may be decided on the last day.

The Nigeria Premier Football League will see four teams promoted from the NNL.

The Super Eight playoff will decide the winner of the 2023/24 season.
