Singer Ruger reveals he has two guns
Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, aka Ruger, has stated that he has two weapons.
During a recent interview with content creator Timi Agbaje, the Blown Boy leader revealed this when discussing the origin for his stage moniker.
The interviewer inquired, "What is the inspiration behind the name Ruger?"
Ruger responded, "It's a gun, mehn."
The interviewer inquired, "Is it a gun?" So you own a gun?"
Ruger responded, "Yeah, I do." "I've got two."
The artist did not say whether the guns he has are licensed or not.
Olukayode Egbetokun, the Inspector-General of Police, stated last year that there is "a temporary ban on the issuance of firearms," and that the force is "mopping up arms in circulation."
He went on to say, "we may review it later, but we are not issuing firearms licenses nationwide now."
Ruger just parted ways with Jonzing World, which is owned by D'Prince.
In January, the 'Asiwaju' hitmaker established his new record company, 'Blown Boy Entertainment'. He also changed the names on his social media profiles to suit the new label.
