Isaacs Kekemeke Joins Ondo State Governorship Race: A Quest for Experienced Leadership

Isaacs Kekemeke, the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the Ondo State governorship race under the banner of the ruling party. With the party's primary slated for April 20, 2024, Kekemeke's declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants vying for the party's ticket, numbering no fewer than 15 chieftains.

Kekemeke, who previously aspired for the governorship position in the 2020 election but lost the party's ticket to the late former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, believes he is now better equipped for the task at hand. Making his declaration at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Centre in Akure, Kekemeke emphasized his wealth of experience, stating his readiness to lead the state towards socio-economic prosperity and peace.
