Portable’s Letter Of Undertaking To Pay N27 Million For G-Wagon Since February Surfaces

A contractual agreement between Nigerian musician Badmus Okikiola Habeeb, also known as Portable, and vehicle trader Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos) has appeared online.
Recall that the musician was arrested by Lagos police for refusing to pay the N14 million debt he accrued when he bought a G-Wagon from an auto vendor.
Portable paid only N13m for the vehicle valued N27m and refused to pay the remaining N14m due to the argument that the vehicle was defective.


However, the agreement said that the musician is expected to have paid N27 million for his Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 since February 2024.

A copy of the agreement that has gone viral indicated that Portable paid N12 million as the initial payment for the car in January 2024 and pledged to pay the full sum in February 2024.

According to the contract, the auto dealer has the authority to reclaim the Mercedes Benz GLE from the singer if all of these agreements are not followed or payments are not made on time.

The document reads, "I, BADMUS OKIKIOLA HABEEB (AKA PORTABLE) of the above name and address hereby write this letter of undertaking that I purchase a Mercedes Benz GLE 350 Black color with CHASIS NUMBER: 4JDA5HB6GA656575 at the rate of Twenty Seven Million Naira Only (N27,000,000.00), which I promise to pay the first payment tomorrow on the 10th of January, 2024, (N12,000,000.00) Second Payment will be on the 24th January, 2024 Five Million naira (N5,000,000.00).

The third payment will be made on February 10, 2024, for five million naira (N5,000,000.00), with the balance due on February 24, 2024, for five million naira alone (N5,000,000.00). The total amount is Twenty Seven Million Naira Only (27,000,000.00), and I, BADMUS OKIKIOLA HABEEB (AKA PORTABLE), agree that the car is quite satisfactory to me.


"Failure to comply with all these agreement or failure to fulfill this kind of payment MR. OGUNSANWO TEMITOPE (TEMMY AUTOS) has the power to retrieve the Mercedes Benz GLE back from me BADMUS OKIKIOLA HABEEB (AKA PORTABLE) without any refund."
