Justin Timberlake arrested for ‘driving while intoxicated’
Justin Timberlake, an American singer, has been detained in New York.
According to rumors, the singer was arrested on Monday night in the Hamptons town of Sag Harbor, New York.
According to Newsday, a police spokesperson verified Timberlake's arrest, and a Sag Harbor Justice Court official confirmed that the charges are for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
The pop diva is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Suffolk County district attorney's office.
This occurs during Timberlake's 'The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.' He'll be performing two nights in Chicago this weekend and two gigs in New York City next week.
