U-17 WWC: Flamingos to know group opponents Saturday
Nigeria's Flamingos will learn their group opponents for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup on Saturday.
According to FIFA's website, the draw will be held at the Frey Antón de Montecinos Monument in the Dominican Republic.
The draw ceremony will be hosted by Avelino Cuadra, a journalist, football analyst, and content producer.
Jaime Yarza, FIFA's director of competitions, will conduct the draw, with assistance from Dominican athlete Thais Herrera and Mexican player Tatiana Flores.
The Flamingos are one of 16 teams that will compete.
Bankole Olowookere's side finished third in the last edition of the competition, which was hosted by India.
The Dominican Republic will host the competition from October 16 to November 3, 2024.
