U-17 WWC: Flamingos to face Dominican Republic, Ecuador, New Zealand in Group A
Nigeria's Flamingos have been drawn in Group A of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, alongside hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and New Zealand.
The draw ceremony took conducted in Santo Domingo.
The Flamingos will meet New Zealand in their opening game on Wednesday, October 16.
Bankole Olowookere's side will face Ecuador in their second group game three days later.
The West Africans will next conclude their group stage campaign with a match against Dominican Republic on Tuesday, October 22.
Nigeria finished third in the previous edition of the biennial competition hosted by India.
OTHER GROUPS
Group B: Spain, USA, Korea Republic, and Colombia. Group C includes Korea DPR, Mexico, Kenya, and England. Group D includes Japan, Poland, Brazil, and Zambia.
