NPFL: Youngster Nwosu elated after debut game for Sunshine Stars

Chinedu Nwosu, a Sunshine Stars forward, expressed his pleasure after making his debut for the club.

Nwosu made his debut for the Owena Waves in the Nigeria Premier Football League on matchday 37 against Remo Stars.

The kid emerged as the Akure club's hero, scoring twice to secure a 2-1 victory.

Nwosu claimed that he wants to contribute more to the team.

"Despite the fact that I'm not playing, I continued working hard by focusing on my training without any distractions from any angle because I was optimistic that my time will come," he stated on the Hope page.

"With God on my side, I will always play with my heart for the Sunshine Stars. I am grateful to our coach, Kennedy Boboye, and all of the senior players on the squad for their support and encouragement; they all inspired me positively.

"There are many good players out there who do not have a platform to showcase their talent, therefore I'm grateful the Ondo State Government and the management of Sunshine Stars for providing this platform for me and others to show the world our God-given talents.”
