Why I featured Zlatan on ‘Pullover’ — Doncarta

Singer and songwriter, Raphael Nnakwuzie, aka Doncarta, has said that he decided to feature another singer, Zlatan, on his new single titled, ‘Pullover, because he felt that he was best that could deliver what he wanted.

In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, Doncarta said, “I decided to feature Zlatan on the song, because I felt he was the one that could give me the kind of vibe I wanted on the song, and I was not disappointed with what we were able to create.”

He added that the song is a mashup of danceable beats that will keep people gyrating and in their dancing shoes.

He said, “In the song, I am proving himself to a particular love interest. I talk about her charisma and beauty; while Zlatan seals the music with rhymes about his wealth and how he would impress her. As always, Zlatan’s ad-libs are beautifully imprinted on the song.”

The singer, who recently returned from a two-year hiatus, got into the industry in 2018, and has since released several songs, including ‘Day Ones’, which features CB Sparkz, and was nominated in the seventh edition for the Top Naija Music Award Best Music Video awards.
