Kwara United will compete better in NPFL next season – Titiloye
Kumbi Titiloye, Kwara United's chairman, has disclosed the cause for the team's dismal performance in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
According to Titiloye, late preparations had an impact on the team's performance throughout the season.
He also stated that the players struggled to adjust to playing on the natural grass of the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin.
TalkTalk Nigeria recalls that Kwara United returned to their home ground at the commencement of the 2023-24 NPFL season after spending three seasons away from Ilorin owing to unplayable pitch conditions.
Titiloye confirmed that preparations for the new season will begin immediately to build on the lessons learned from the previous season.
The Harmony Boys concluded the season in 13th place.
