U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos off to Monrovia Thursday
Nigeria's Flamingos will depart for Monrovia on Thursday ahead of their FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup final qualifying round match against Liberia.
The first game is scheduled for Sunday at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.
To get to this level, the Flamingos defeated the Central African Republic and Burkina Faso by large margins.
The Central African Republic lost by a dozen goals on aggregate, while the Burkinabe girls were defeated 7-1.
Liberia stunned Senegal in the previous round by booking a match with Nigeria.
The Flamingos finished third in the last U-17 Women's World Cup hosted by India.
