EPL: Chelsea in talks to sign Arsenal, Man Utd targets for Enzo Maresca

Chelsea has begun conversations with Benjamin Sesko and Michael Olise in an attempt to undermine Arsenal and Manchester United's transfer ambitions.



Arsenal were considered frontrunners for RB Leipzig's Sesko, with manager Mikel Arteta looking to enhance his attacking lineup this summer.

According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea has contacted Sesko's representation as they seek summer additions for new manager Enzo Maresca, who succeeded Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea is apparently working with RB Leipzig to block Arsenal's pursuit, similar to its January 2023 hijacking of Mykhailo Mudryk's transfer.


Todd Boehly, Chelsea's owner, intends to back Maresca in the transfer market, including a bid for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

Despite Manchester United's interest in Olise, the article states that Chelsea has also spoken with Olise's agents and Crystal Palace, who want at least £60 million for the former Super Eagles invitee.
