‘I can’t repeat the same cloth’ – Singer Magixx

Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, also known as Magixx, has spoken up about the obstacles he faced as a celebrity.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Mavin Records signee revealed that his hectic schedule as an artist and meeting public expectations placed him under pressure.

He bemoaned being unable to reproduce the same fabric due to public expectations.

Magixx stated, "There is a way to every great person's destiny. In determining the way, I realized that you must go through this. I was coping with public acceptance, family concerns, accepting my current situation in order to improve myself while still satisfying public demands.

"There's a whole lot. You're still the songwriter, the person who will show up for the video call, and the person who will answer your family's phone calls. You're still the person with a love interest, and you're still the one who will travel outside of Lagos every weekend to play for people. It's a lot, but no one knows. People are unaware that I cannot repeat the same cloth. For example, here's the last time you will see the outfit I’m currently wearing on social media. I’ve to think about the cloth to wear everyday. Normal people don’t think about those things.
