DJ Cuppy excited as her acting debut series ‘Supacell’ tops global TV shows on Netflix

Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, a Nigerian disc jockey, has enjoyed her acting debut series Supacell's journey to the top of the global TV shows chart on Netflix.

TalkTalk Nigeria recalls Cuppy's acting debut in the British sci-fi series, which aired on Netflix on June 27, 2024.

Rapman directed the first episode of the series, in which the music star appeared as a disk jockey.

Following the series' most recent achievement, DJ took to her X profile to thank Rapman for the opportunity to be a part of the project.


She wrote, "Cupcakes!" Supercell is the world's most popular Netflix TV program.

"I'm eternally grateful to RealRapman for providing me the opportunity to be a part of this endeavor.

"Now, we are currently the most viewed Netflix show in the world!"
