Transfer: Echegini completes move to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain, the French D1 Arkema club, has confirmed the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini.

Echegini has signed a three-year contract with the Parisian.

TalkTalk Nigeria recalls that the player announced her resignation from the Italian club Juventus on Tuesday.

Last season, the 23-year-old scored ten goals and assisted once in 16 appearances for Juventus.

"I am having a fantastic day in my profession today. Signing with Paris Saint-Germain is a great source of pride. "I am very proud to join a club that is known around the world for its ambition and excellence," Echegini stated on the club's official website.

"I can't wait to get started and I can't wait to give the best of myself to try to win, with my teammates and for the supporters, as many trophies as possible."

Echegini is currently on international duty for Nigeria.

Last week, the Super Falcons started training camp in Sevilla, Spain, in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
