CAF Confederation Cup: El-Kanemi face Beninoise club, Dadje FC in preliminary round

El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will begin their CAF Confederation Cup campaign against Beninoise club Dadje FC.

After more than 20 years, the Maiduguri club will play its first game on the continent.

The first game will be contested between August 16 and 18, 2024, with the second match taking place between August 23 and 25, 2024.

El-Kanemi will face previous winners RS Berkane of Morocco in the second preliminary round if they defeat Dadje FC.

Enyimba, who were picked by chance, will face the winner of Guinea's Haifa FC and Burkina Faso's Rahimo in the second preliminary round.

No Nigerian club has won the CAF Confederation Cup.
