Euro 2024 final: It’s much better if England star doesn’t play – Cucurella

Marc Cucurella, a Spain defender, wants England star Cole Palmer to sit from Sunday's Euro 2024 final.

Cucurella and Palmer are also Chelsea teammates.


Palmer had a significant effect off the bench in England's 2-1 semi-final triumph over the Netherlands.

He assisted Ollie Watkins' 90-minute winner against the Netherlands.

"I chatted with him, but it was more than a week ago. Cucurella told Mundo Deportivo: "We talked for a while in the previous rounds."

"For me, it's much better if he doesn't play and stays on the bench."
