Transfer: Ancelotti urges Real Madrid to sign Portugal player.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly requested Florentino Perez, the club's president, to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal teammate Vitinha.
Vitinha has been one of the most interesting performers at his position.
The midfielder represented Portugal in Euro 2024 and also won the French Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old appeared in 46 games across all competitions for PSG, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.
Ancelotti has not overlooked his talent, and according to El Nacional, the Italian manager wants him to join his squad following Toni Kroos' decision to retire.
Kroos' departure from Ancelotti's side has created a vacancy in Real Madrid's midfield.
While players such as Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham can fill in the gaps, Ancelotti believes Vitinha is a superior alternative.
Vitinha is projected to be valued at more than €50 million.
