EPL: Ipswich Town boss McKenna happy to have Aluko on coaching crew
Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna is thrilled to have former Super Eagles winger Sone Aluko join his coaching staff.
On Monday, the Premier League newcomers confirmed Aluko's hiring as head coach of their first team.
Aluko spent three seasons with the Blues, from 2021 to 2024.
The former Rangers player announced his retirement from football earlier this summer.
He has already earned coaching badges.
"We're thrilled to add Sone to our coaching staff," McKenna said on the club's official website.
"His work ethic and morals have been crucial to the club in recent years, and we are confident he will carry those attributes to his new post.
"Sone has strong relationships with players and staff at the club, and he will be a big addition for us."
