'Happiness is more essential than being together' - Yul Edochie responds to P-Square brawl
Controversial actor Yul Edochie has urged netizens to let the famed Nigerian singing group, P-Square, to remain apart if they choose.
Yul said this in response to the continuing dispute between the twin pop singers.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Rudeboy recently stated that P-Square has broken up for the second time, just three years after reuniting.
P-Square, which included Rudeboy and his twin brother, Mr P, disbanded in 2016, but rejoined in 2021.
Following the development, Nigerians, including Peter Obi, have called for reconciliation.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Yul stressed that sometimes staying apart rather than reconciling brings peace of mind.
He captioned the photo, "Being alive and happy is more important than being together."
"When I hear people say, 'Rudeboy, go and make peace with your brother' or 'Mr P, go and make peace with your brother,' I just laugh. Many people still don't grasp that staying apart might bring true tranquility.
"Sometimes, even family members must be blocked and only interact with others from a distance in order to find serenity. Attempting to get close will kill you. Life is brief, particularly for guys.
"Small stuff, man. Don't fall. This is why there are so many widows worldwide. You must be intentional about your life. And life is per head. Block anyone who needs to be blocked so you can be at peace. Do not look back. Fight for your life. It's great to see P-Square reunited. However, if they must remain separated in order to be happy and alive for us, then be it. "We love them regardless."
