'Legalize cannabis': Singer BNXN asks Nigerian government

Afrobeats singer Daniel Benson, alias BNXN, has pushed the Federal Government to legalize Loud, an imported potent synthetic form of cannabis.

Despite its popularity among Nigerian youngsters, synthetic cannabis remains illegal in the country, with users facing jail time.

BNXN, using his verified X handle, made a passionate plea to the Nigerian government to legalize Loud.

He composed the following sentence: "Make dem legalize loud for this side o."

TalkTalk Nigeria recalls that SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, recently chastised rising artist Ayo Maff for boasting of using Canadian Loud in his song 'Last Week'.

Hundeyin remarked that half of the youths in prison would not be there if they had not used drugs, emphasizing that illicit drugs are a forerunner to criminality.
