Why I fell in love with Adekunle Gold – Simi
Nigerian musician Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has revealed why she fell in love with her husband, singer Adekunle Gold.
The mother of one said that she fell in love with her spouse due of his graphic design and photo editing abilities.
She revealed this when congratulating Gold on successfully editing a water bottle out of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya's portrait on X on Saturday, after the chess master requested the courtesy.
Simi reposted Gold's modified version of the chess master's photo, writing, "This was why I fell for you. I'm not sure who sent you to start singing."
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Adekunle Gold was a fantastic photoshopper before signing with Olamide's musical company, YBNL Nation, after developing the label's logo.
Gold married fellow artist Simi on January 9, 2019, in Lagos. The couple had their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
