Blackface advises Nigerian youths to protest peacefully and not destroy property.
Veteran dancehall artist Augustine Ahmedu Obiabo, often known as Blackface, has advised Nigerians taking part in the ongoing statewide protest to behave peacefully.
He reminded out that Nigerians are suffering, thus the protest is justified.
He did, however, urge the demonstrators to be concerned about their safety, emphasizing that their lives are valuable.
The 'Hard Life' singer also cautioned demonstrators against harming or vandalising property.
On his social media profile, Blackface wrote: "My people, I know things are difficult and tough, and yes, we demand better from our politicians in authority who profit themselves while we, the people, have very little to live on!
"As we protest, please stay safe, as your life is important, and don't go destroying people's properties."
