Following the continuous protests, several of his admirers resorted to social media to encourage celebrities to join the cause.
Burna Boy cautioned his fans on his X handle not to lure him into demonstrations, claiming that the first one killed during the EndSARS protest on October 20, 2020.

The post from the 2020 protest recorded the moment demonstrators refused to let his music play during their march.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, singer Spyro had previously called for a statewide entertainment break and urged other celebs to utilize their page to contribute their voices.
