Grammy: Wike never gave me anything. - Burna Boy
Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, claims no politician in Nigeria has ever offered him anything.
In a statement posted on his X Twitter on Thursday, the sober rapper said that Rivers State's ex-Governor Nyesom Wike failed to keep his commitment to him after he won the Grammy.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Wike said in 2021 that he would gift Burna Boy a parcel of land and cash in recognition of his Grammy Award achievement.
This came after Rivers State hosted a homecoming ceremony for Burna Boy following his record 'Twice as Tall' winning the Best Global Music record category.
However, in the post, Burna Boy stated: "No politician has ever offered anything. Go ask him where the land is and how much money he gave me. "You think I'm your favorite."
