NPFL boss confirms commitment to top-tier growth.
The Nigeria Premier Football League has reaffirmed its commitment to the top flight's continued expansion.
NPFL chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye stated this during a media interview.
Elegbeleye acknowledged the issues that could have resulted in the postponing of the 2024-25 season's start date.
"There will always be issues," Elegbeleye told Totsports.
"But we must continually find answers because a lot is at stake, particularly with our August start date.
"We moved mountains to ensure it doesn't fail, particularly for the brand image and project we are building."
