DJ Entertains #EndBadGovernance Protesters In Ojota, Lagos
Previously, police officers prevented the DJ installing his musical instrument inside the Park, claiming they were operating on the CP's orders.
Adekunle Opeyemi, also known as DJ Opsson, entertained demonstrators on Monday at Freedom Park in Ojota, Lagos.
This was made possible by Lagos Commissioner of Police Adegoke Fayode, who granted him permission to bring his musical instruments into the park on Monday.
Previously, police officers prevented the DJ installing his musical instrument inside the Park, claiming they were operating on the CP's orders.
The denial produced a minor incident as demonstrators attempted to force the musical instruments inside, causing some uproar.
After a two-hour non-musical break, the CP returned to the protest scene.
One of the demonstrators' lawyers, Justice Ojienoh, approached him and requested that the DJ mount his instrument.
The CP gave a nod to the request, which sparked excitement.
The demonstrators are still at the site, dancing to the DJ's music.
