Transfer: Atletico Madrid offers Chelsea one condition to sell Omorodion.

Atletico Madrid would only trade Samuel ‘Samu’ Omorodion to Chelsea if they are able to secure Julian Alvarez from Manchester City this summer.

The La Liga team is embroiled in talks with City over the 24-year-old.

Alvarez is eager to leave the Premier League champions in quest of greater playing time and a warmer environment to reside.

Despite Pep Guardiola's reluctance to allow the striker depart, an agreement with Atletico appears close.

If the move for Alvarez is completed, Atletico will allow Omorodion to go for Chelsea.

According to football trade specialist Fabrizio Romano, Atlético Madrid has filed an official bid to Manchester City for Julián Álvarez.

"The agreement is contingent on Omorodion's departure, since Chelsea is in advanced talks with Atlético about signing Samu for £35 million.

"Domino is on but Samu leaves only if Atlético agrees to Julián's deal."
