DJ Neptune denied scamming Laycon.
DJ Neptune, a popular Nigerian disc jockey, has denied scamming Laycon, a singer and former Big Brother Naija winner.
Laycon recently confronted DJ Neptune about unpaid royalties for their collaboration 'Nobody Icons' Remix', according to TalkTalk Nigeria.
The reality personality said that he has yet to receive a dollar from the song, which was released four years prior.
During his recent visit on the 'Zero Conditions' podcast, DJ Neptune asserted that he had not defrauded the vocalist.
DJ Neptune stated, "Laycon is my brother regardless. Let me just state unequivocally that no one ate anyone's money. I'd like to assume you have expertise of the music business. When you have a deal with a distribution business or a label and you are granted advanced marketing money to push the music, the video or whatnot. They’ve to recoup. It’s a return on investment.

It’s a return on investment going on. But a certain percentage was proposed to Laycon’s team and they kicked back at it. And the conversation was just there.”
He berated the manner in which Laycon called him out on social media, saying he made it look like he defrauded him.
