Laycon calls out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalty

Laycon, a popular Nigerian singer and former BBNaija winner, has spoken out against DJ Neptune for unpaid royalties from their collaboration.

Laycon claimed on Wednesday in a viral post on his X handle that DJ Neptune has yet to pay him for their collaborative song 'Nobody (Icons remix)'.

The reality star, who accused Neptune of keeping silent for four years, stressed the need for artistes to adhere to agreements in the music industry.

He wrote: "Abeg o, DJ Neptune, how far is my agreement and split for the 'Nobody (Icons Remix)' song? Isn't it still ready? Haba, it's been four years.

DJ Neptune has yet to respond to Laycon's allegations.

TalkTalk Nigeria recalls that in October 2020, the song 'Nobody Icon remix,' which also included Joeboy, was dedicated to supporters of the BBNaija winner Icons.
