LP campaign funding saga: Pastor Giwa says Peter Obi, Atiku, Tinubu, and others can't fix Nigeria.
Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, has stated that previous Labour Party (LP) presidential candidates Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and President Bola Tinubu cannot fix Nigeria.
Pastor Giwa was responding to the scandal about the misuse of the LP 2023 presidential campaign funding.
He claimed Nigeria would have been forgotten if Obi had won the 2023 presidential election because he is unfaithful in minor matters.
Giwa told TalkTalk Nigeria that if Peter Obi had won the 2023 presidential election, Nigeria would have been forgotten. A guy who is unfaithful in the little things cannot be faithful in the large things.
"The world can easily see that individuals who claim to be saints are worse than today's crop of politicians. The majority of people who profess to be social media activists are unable to manage their own houses, let alone the entire nation.
"Things are now breaking apart, and the core cannot hold. Forget Nigeria if Obi became president. His administration would have been worse than the Tinubu-led one.
"None of these men can fix Nigeria; I said that before the 2023 presidential election. They're men with questionable records. A nation that wishes to succeed will not elect such a leader. How can someone who isn't transparent with his party members be transparent with the entire country?
"I was not one of the people they duped in the 2023 presidential election. They approached me, appealed, and did everything they could to persuade me, but I turned them down. I am being guided by the Holy Spirit, not the people.
"Neocolonialism, in my opinion, is the root source of our current problems. We are not completely free of our colonial rulers. If a leader tries to break the bonds his opponent against him.
"Either they get him out of the way or they silence him. As a result, it will be up to residents to fight for their future using whatever tools they have.
