Serie A: Lookman pleased to help Atalanta upset Fiorentina
Ademola Lookman is in a good mood after helping Atalanta defeat Fiorentina 3-2 at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.
Lookman scored the winning goal for Gian Piero Gasperini's side in his first Serie A appearance of the season.
The pacy winger also contributed an assist in the entertaining game.
The 26-year-old spoke with DAZN following the game.
"I'm happy to be back in front of our fans and playing football here. We're enjoying it; we have a great roster this season and are eager to compete, so we'll keep going."
Following a successful season last year, La Dea will compete in the UEFA Champions League this season.
The Bergamo will face Arsenal in their first game in midweek.
The Nigeria international shared his excitement about the impending match.
"We're very pleased to be in the Champions League this season," said the Ballon d'Or nominee.
"We deserved it and must demonstrate it. We want to demonstrate the same drive and mindset that we had today in order to come back from behind."
