Veteran comedian Ali Baba has advised that insecure men should quit their careers rather than pressure their partners who earn more than them.

Ali Baba made this statement in response to a current article about a man who forced his wife to quit her work because she earned more than him.

While questioning the story's veracity, the comic observed that such men's self-worth was linked to their financial standing, and they felt vulnerable when confronted with wealthy ladies.

In a post on his Instagram page, he stated that the man should quit his work rather than asking his wife to do so.

He asked, "that are these women that fell for such lies? If you make more than your man, allow him to quit his work. Nonsense! Who are these lazy bums peddling these ridiculous stories?

"If you earn N10 million per month and your husband makes N1.5 million, does it make sense to resign? That suggests the man's confidence is financially motivated and secure. I have insecurities about my foot.

"So Stedman will ask Oprah Winfrey to resign. Who is raising these men with self-esteem based on financial status? Instead of being challenged and motivated to improve your financial status.”
