NPFL: Abia Warriors ready for Remo Stars - Njoku

Augustine Njoku, captain of the Abia Warriors, believes the team is prepared for the new season's opener against Remo Stars.

On Sunday, the Umuahia club will play host to Remo Stars.

Njoku pointed out that the new players are attempting to defend their inclusion in the team.

"The players are ready to go, and the mood in the camp is very high," Njoku told Abia Warriors reporters.

"The new players are in a match mood; they are rearing to show the qualities that attracted the club to signing them."

The last time Abia Warriors and Remo Stars met in Aba, they drew 0-0.
