EPL: Former Bayern Munich manager wants to replace Pochettino at Chelsea
Chelsea could hire former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick as their new manager.
After Mauricio Pochettino's departure, the German has apparently shown an interest in taking over as Blues manager.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, the Argentine left Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, and the club plans to employ its fourth permanent manager in the previous two years.
This is despite an optimistic finish to the 2023-24 season under Pochettino.
After an unfortunate tenure in charge of the German national team, Hansi Flick has been out of job for over a year and is preparing to return to management.
Christian Falk, a German journalist, has recently reported that Flick is open to taking the post at Stamford Bridge.
Hansi Flick has a respectable but limited club football CV, having only coached Bayern Munich in the top level.
Chelsea are thought to be trying to hire a youthful manager, with many European candidates already linked with the position.
They will try to build on their successful finish in 2023-24 and potentially win some silverware under their next boss.
