Transfer: Real Madrid, Juventus, EPL rival try to hijack Arsenal’s move for Calafiori

Riccardo Calafiori, a Bologna defender, has shown interest in joining Arsenal this summer.

According to Sky Sports, a couple of clubs attempted to derail Arsenal's attempt to sign the Italian international.


It is reported that Real Madrid, Juventus, and another Premier League team have spoken with Calafiori in the last ten days.

Calafiori, on the other hand, has promised Arsenal that he will not consider any other team.

Arsenal is close to reaching an agreement in principle with Bologna for the midfielder, who starred at Euro 2024.

Bologna has been holding out for £42 million for the player.
