Davido responds as dad donates N1 billion to C&S Church
Famous Afrobeat musician Davido has responded to his father's N1 billion donation to a church.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, the singer's father, Adedeji Adeleke, donated N1 billion on Sunday to the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church's Centenary Endowment Fund.
He gave the donation in memory of his mother, Esther Adeleke, at a remembrance service at the church's headquarters in Lagos.
Responding to a popular video of the occasion on Tunde Ednut's comment section, Davido disclosed that his father enjoys donating to the church and education.
He left a message: "Anything Church or education, no worry, you don cash out."
Also on his Instagram account, the singer stated, "My dear father inspires me every day! "I love this man right here."
