I was ordered to cease my performance because of P-Square's Flavour.
Chinedu Okoli, also known as Flavour N'abania, a Nigerian high-life crooner, has spoken out about being ordered to vacate the platform so that P-Square could play on it.
Flavour made the remarks while appearing on the 'In My Opinion' program.
According to him, he began his musical career as a church choir conductor and percussionist.
However, a contact with P-Square marked a turning point in his career.
He stated, "I recall one day with P-square, when they just came out with 'Temptation. They were promoting a show, and the promoters led them to the City Centre in Enugu.
"With that location, I had already created a fan base; everyone came every weekend. No matter what was going on in Enugu, my place was always full.
"So the promoters brought Psquare while I was playing, and P-Square came right away; the manager simply said, 'Hello, off that thing.'
"I turned off, handed up the microphone, and went to sit. Then Paul from P-square picked up the microphone and simply remarked, 'This na temptation' everywhere disseminated."
