Whitemoney Reacts to Fake Shoe Allegations, Embraces ‘No Pressure’ Lifestyle

By TalkTalk Nigeria

Popular reality star and singer, Whitemoney, has responded in a humorous and unapologetic way after being called out for wearing “fake” Louis Vuitton shoes.

A luxury fashion page, T20Luxury, which has been exposing celebrities for allegedly wearing knockoff designer brands, claimed that Whitemoney’s LV footwear was not genuine. Instead of being defensive, Whitemoney took the allegations in stride, showing off his diverse shoe collection and making a case for what he calls "grades, not fakes."

“I’m an Ambassador for Grade A Shoes”

Taking to Instagram, the ex-BBNaija housemate showcased several shoes in his collection, pointing out that some might not be original designer brands but are still of high quality. He jokingly declared himself an "ambassador for grade A shoes," insisting that the idea of "fake" does not exist—just different levels of quality.

“There’s nothing like fake, just grades, my brother. If you give me original, I will tell you thank you. I would be so appreciative.”

Whitemoney also laughed off the claims, showing a shoe that resembled a Dior sneaker but humorously pointing out that the “I” in the name had disappeared. He admitted that while he doesn’t currently buy expensive designer shoes, he has no problem with it, saying:

"For now, I can’t afford the original, but soon I’ll get there. Until then, dash me some real stuff, make I model for you—I be fine man, I get better body."

A Refreshing Take on Luxury and Pressure

In a world where many celebrities strive to keep up appearances, Whitemoney’s honest and carefree approach is refreshing. His "no pressure" mindset sends a message to fans that self-worth isn’t tied to expensive brands. Instead of pretending or feeling ashamed, he embraces his reality while working towards a future where he can comfortably afford luxury without stress.

Final Thoughts—A Lesson in Authenticity?

This saga raises an important question: Should celebrities always wear luxury brands, or is it okay to opt for budget-friendly alternatives? Whitemoney’s response challenges the idea that fame must come with an expensive lifestyle, proving that confidence and personality matter more than designer labels.

What do you think? Should celebs be called out for wearing “fake” fashion, or is Whitemoney’s "no pressure, no shame" approach the way to go? Let’s hear your thoughts! 👇🏾
