Transfer: Iroegbunam set to join Everton from Aston Villa

Tim Iroegbunam will have a medical at Everton on Thursday (today), after the club agreed to a deal with Aston Villa for his transfer.

Everton, according to many sources, will pay £10 million for the midfielder.

Iroegbunam will join the Merseysiders, unless the arrangement changes unexpectedly.

The 20-year-old moved to Aston Villa from West Bromwich Albion in 2021.

However, the playmaker's first-team appearances at Villa Park have been restricted since his arrival.

Iroegbunam played the 2022-23 season on loan at Championship side Queens Park Rangers, where he scored four goals and provided four assists in 32 games.

Last season, he played 15 games for Aston Villa, including two starts.
